The final session at The World Games is the big boys and we are expecting the superheavyweight men to move some huge weights. There is hardly anything between the top three nominations in this class so we should be in for a great battle. Andrii Shevchenko is a former European champion and junior world champion but this will be his first time attending The World Games. He is under huge pressure from many time world champion, Oleksiy Bychkov, and seasoned warhorse, Joe Cappellino – Joe took the silver medal in 2017 at The World Games in Wroclaw and he will be looking to improve on that this time out. However Bychkov and Tony Cliffe set their nominated totals in the 120kg class – they will definitely benefit from the freedom from making weight and we are excited to see what that will mean for their totals.
