Say hello to HALO 👋⁣ ⁣ As future Artemis missions establish humanity’s long-term presence on and around the Moon, the Gateway space station will prepare astronauts for missions to the lunar surface. ⁣ ⁣ Starting with Artemis IV, astronauts will “work from home” with the Habitation and Logistics Outpost (HALO) module. HALO will be the first pressurized module for Gateway, and later other habitable elements will be added. ⁣ ⁣ HALO is about 10 feet (3 meters) in diameter, about 24.5 feet (7.5 meters) in length, and has three docking ports.
