It’s really crazy the way life happens. I got to see my favorite band for one of the first times since 2010, on my late mother’s birthday. In a city 1,900 miles away from home. Surrounded by friends, old and new. Met some new people in great bands and fell in love with their music instantly. The good vibes were off the chart. • It’s crazy that it was THIS song, of all songs. I would play this song by myself nearly every time I picked up my guitar. I was in a band several years ago, and I wanted to cover THIS song at one of our shows. • The only problem is, my bandmates didn’t like The Killers. 😂🤷🏾‍♀️ So that never happened for me. I haven’t been in a band since 2011/2012, and I damn sure hadn’t sang in front of anyone since then either. • I am extremely grateful for the experience. A fire was ignited within me that went out a very long time ago.
