After the ladies set the scene for us in the 800, the men had no option but to run fast…and that’s exactly what they did. Jake took the race on after the rabbits dropped out and kept the pace honest and was rewarded with a huge PB and Olympic Qualifier. 3:33.99, he also breaks a 31 year old Welsh record in doing so. After two uninterrupted years of training and a more than deserved breakthrough, Vince walked away from the race with a huge PR and an Olympic Qualifier. 3:34.57. To wrap up this race for us, Will too ran a PR of 3:35.42, which was painfully close to the Olympic Qualifying mark.
