Combined with those unique circumstances, it was our own hgreenrun’s first Diamond League and her first Pre Classic. It certainly did not disappoint. Against a world class field, she finished a fine 4th. Her first time breaking the 2:00.00 barrier. In the elite world of women’s 800m, sub-2 is the elusive barrier. Hanna not only broke it for the first time, she smashed it, skipping the 1:59’s and straight into the 1:58’s.
