Since the late 2000’s, Los Angeles alternative rap connoisseur Earl Sweatshirt has been releasing projects to his cult fanbase. Earl has been a contentious figure in the rap scene, being a figure of controversy at times due to his unique style of delivery of his music. On Jan. 14, 2022, Sweatshirt released his newest studio album “Sick!”, which sees him utilizing his famous monotone style and delivery once again. “Sick!” contains 10 songs, almost all of them being on the shorter end, ranging between one to two minutes. Its runtime is short, at only 24 minutes, bu Earl still manages to discuss several deep and personal topics.
