On March 4, the Huron auto tech students took a field trip to go see the annual Autorama show at the Huntington Place, in Detroit. The students went for the Student Career Day events and activities. Before heading into the showroom, students were given a between one to two hour presentation. There were a few special guest presenters such as Chip Foose, who designed the 90’s Volkswagen Beetle and the Plymouth Prowler, along with spokespeople from Summit racing and Universal Technical Institute. The students were taught about education and employment opportunities and given insight and advice on work ethic and good habits.
