In Nickels Arcade, there are cool quaint shops to browse, and one of them is Comet Coffee. Even with a small menu, the drinks have powerful flavors that I have not always found at bigger coffee shops. They offer espresso in many different ways such as a latte, cappuccino and macchiato. Along with espresso, they offer many different blends of drip coffee and non-coffee drinks such as loose-leaf teas and caramel milk. I tried their iced latte, and just a plain shot of espresso, and I must say I was a big fan of the espresso. It was smooth and did not leave a bitter after taste like many coffee drinks do. For eating, they offer a wide variety of pastries like different flavored croissants, cookies, brownies and macarons. I ordered a croissant and it was flaky and buttery, as a perfect croissant should be. The price of their drinks and food are very fair, with a large latte costing $4.50.
