BREAKING NEWS: Due to allegations of a locker room assault, Huron’s Junior Varsity football season is canceled. According to an MLive article published Oct. 19, there is a video of the alleged assault, involving four members of the team — including the alleged victim. All four are 15 and the police told MLive that the victim was “reportedly pushed and pulled to the floor and wrapped in netting.” MLive reviewed the video and said it “appeared to be the student being tackled, kicked and hit with objects by the group of students before being dragged a few feet by netting.” Huron school officials have filed an official police report, after the victim’s mother brought the incident to their attention, on Oct.10 with the Ann Arbor Police Department, MLive reported. This incident is still under police investigation. *This is a developing story. Photo by Sandra Fu
