This week’s Tuesday Tunes features Unholy, a song from Sam Smith’s new album Gloria. Holding pole position on the charts for only two weeks, this song features interesting lyrics. Though only containing one explicit word, they are very suggestive and raunchy. Where the song stands out is its chorus, which features what sounds like a distant Sam Smith hypnotically chanting in a very lyrically-catchy, echoey way. This gets stuck in your head easily, unlike the other verses. Overall, the chorus gets stuck in your head and the rest of the song doesn't do much else, leading to this being a mostly average song.
