Looks like there is some hope for public high school athletes hoping to participate in #NIL I can buy the “let’s wait until the fall when we’re in session and make sure we get it right”, quite frankly I actually agree with it… On a separate note, NIL has been around long enough to stop reporting on theory and start reporting on reality. This notion that money from NIL will distract kids from education, and money from NIL will be spent frivolously but working part-time job will not and money from a part-time job will not or a teenager who does make-up reviews on social media and gets compensated for it will avoid the same issues is just idiotic… Can we stop grabbing quotes from people who are clueless about what’s really going on and start grabbing more quotes from the former football coach referenced in this article?
