Lyrik Thorne was voted the 2024 South Atlantic Conference Women’s Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year‼️ Scholar-Athlete of the Year award is presented annually to one student-athlete based on their achievements in academics, athletics, service, and leadership. Lyrik currently maintains a 3.81 GPA in the Masters of Sports Management program at Catawba in addition to being named 2024 SAC Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, D2CCA Southeast Region Player of the Year and a First Team All-American. #CatawbaCulture
