Lyrik Thorne is awarded 2024 SAC Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year ‼️ The grad student from High Point, N.C. is the fifth player in conference history – and first in program history – to earn the Player of the Year award in back-to-back seasons. She also holds the distinction as the first player in SAC history to earn Player of the Year and the Defensive Player of the Year honors. The conference's scoring leader this season, Thorne averaged 20.4 points per game this season. Thorne has also been award First Team All Conference!
