In Florida, indoor farms can be found in Tampa, The Villages, Jacksonville, Miami, and other places. These farms can save land and help bring food to urban areas, but they can also be costly to build and maintain, according to a review of research from UF Agricultural and Biological Engineering. The cost for a 10,000-square-foot greenhouse is $500,000 to $1.5 million. That doesn’t include electricity, which accounts for 20 to 30% of your operational costs. #IndoorFarming #UrbanFarming
