The worms in our continuous flow-through (CFT) bin receive scheduled weekly feedings of food scraps, compost and other organic material. Sallie also monitors temperature and moisture levels, opening up the overhead misting system when more moisture is needed. When it's time to harvest, Sallie activates the CFT's cutting bar. The bar moves across the length of the bin, loosening the finished material at the bottom and allowing it to fall to the floor.
