The next generation of BC Wheelchair Rugby rose in 2023 with five junior athletes competing in their first tournament! The Vancouver Junior Wheelchair Program starts up again next Saturday, January 10th at the Richmond Olympic Oval and we're recruiting more players. This fun and free program is ideal for young athletes 10-18 with an impairment in their upper and lower limbs, like Cerebral Palsy, Charcot-Marie-Tooth, Dystonia, and more. Led by senior athletes and coaches from the Vancouver Wheelchair Rugby Club, junior sessions focus on fun and skill development with a mix of drills and games in a supportive and social environment.
