Less than a week till the decider so I thought I’d share one of two training jerseys I designed for this year’s Origin series. This one aims to capture the essence of the Cauldron and the energy of the ‘Queenslander’ chant visually. I’ve had a few questions about the jersey’s color scheme and why there’s not more Maroon. The white symbolizes the illuminated field, while the maroon tones around the midsection represent the crowd, the source of the sound. These maroon tones illustrate how the sound reverberates throughout the stadium and into the black night sky, creating a visual representation of the game’s atmosphere.
