This is a really good drill to do if a slapper is running too fast through the ball and isn't using her legs to really drive it. This allows for slappers to really feel themselves push off of that back leg and explode through the ball.

Make sure you push off that back leg while simultaneously starting your swing to get the full effect as if you were actually slapping. Become a true triple threat!
