Originally a part of the Studio Tour at Universal Studios Hollywood, King Kong Encounter, also known as Kongfrontation, was an attraction inspired by the 1976 film adaptation of King Kong. This attraction also influenced the creation of Kongfrontation at Universal Studios Florida.
