Happy #Juneteenth! Celebrating emancipation from slavery can take so many forms, and honoring the legacy of Black literacy and the #righttolearn seems especially important this year. Last week, afroplayoakland held a family-centered Juneteenth event to celebrate the freedom of our ancestors through play, healthy food, circle time, games, swimming and more.
