OUSD schools are having parent-teacher conferences this week and it can be hard to know what to ask about your kid’s reading skills. Here’s a place to start:    1. Is my child where you expect them to be with their reading? What type of growth have you seen so far this year?   2.What literacy milestones has my child mastered? Are there any milestones that  they're struggling with?   3. Can you show me their iReady data and explain what reading skills they need to work on?
