Ordinary objects, extraordinary fun – Flipside 2024 flipped our perspectives on everyday items by turning them into whimsical wonders! Thailand’s talentshow_theatre transformed household items like cushions and slippers into central characters. Meanwhile, the giant slinkies of Big Mob brought unexpected joy to an unsuspecting crowd, playfully pursuing anyone who tried to evade their antics. Crafted from an assortment of gadgetry, Thingamabob mesmerised with a curious looking contraption that unfolded into a perfect chain reaction. To get all hands on deck, there were craft workshops for firsthand experience at turning ordinary objects like plastic bags and paper into stylish wearable accessories and toys. Ultimately, Flipside reminded us that we can always find delight in the ordinary by transforming the mundane into magic with our creativity and boundless imagination.
