Thank you to everyone who stopped by Emotions of the Sun, the veuveclicquot photo exhibition in SoHo created in partnership with magnumphotos. Eight Magnum photographers were tasked with creating images inspired by the sun, and their work was on display in a special bright yellow gallery open to the public in June. One evening during the week-long exhibition, Cherry Bombe’s founder kerrybombe sat down with photographer Alex Webb (webb_norriswebb) to discuss his work in Mexico and Cuba, his use of color, and his approach to photojournalism. Veuve Clicquot’s Adriana Angulo welcomed the audience of artists, photojournalists, and other creatives. Alex’s work was on view along with photographers including Cristina De Middel (lademiddel), nannaheitmann, oliviarthur, and newshatavakolian.
