This is one of the most impressive mountain ranges I’ve ever seen, and easily my favorite part of the Dolomites that we got to explore. This viewpoint was definitely worth the 9 mile hike that we had to do since we got there before the road to the trailhead opened. The funny thing is that I did this hike twice, about a week apart. The first time was through waste deep snow with gavin.britton and lordharrytalbot. There was so much snow then that we couldn’t even get to the viewpoint in these photos, so I was very happy that all of that snow had melted when I tried it a second time.
