This phase our athletes are starting to increase load on resisted sprinting to improve early acceleration ability.
During a bodyweight sprint, an athlete will only hit peak power for a fraction of a second. Loading up a sled and sprinting with it allows for the athlete to increase their time at peak power which will allow them to improve that at a faster rate.
