We did it first! #thebigfatindianwedding #theater ---- Around this time in 2018, kirtana_banskota and feralgardencat were at muelleratx working on the script of The Big Fat Indian Wedding. A Co-production between us here at banskotaproductions and agnientertainment As the script progressed the two writers went back and forth on how they wanted the bridal entrance, when suddenly Kirtana mentioned she wanted the bride to come on a boat. In the dusk of a warm summer eve, she envisioned this to be the highlight of the audience interactive Bollywood-inspired play. At 8PM on September 6th, as the sun set and the sky went dark the candle lights were set on the banks of the water, and the lights went on on the other side of the pond. The spotlight comes on and boom dancers dressed as bridesmaids started dancing to Bollywood songs choreographed by the wonderful sowmya.rao .
