When we were in New Jersey the boys devised an airbox out of a serving tray we had on sight to get intake air temps down. Now while that serving tray reduced intake temps by about 30 degrees, it was of course a temporary solution. colabgarage went the extra mile and whipped up something permanent - a carbon intake. madscientist_ 3D scanned the front and whipped up this little guy in CAD and printed this in house. Crazy the 3D printing quality, what is multiple pieces looks like one. Old school mushroom filter too is also a nice touch. I legit cringe when I see people just slap a filter on the compressor housing and think that’s acceptable- it isn’t. Heat management is everything and ensuring that you get the coldest, cleanest air you can get fed into the engine is vital for health and performance. #cold #air #rb26 #rb28
