Q: How did you get into chalk art?
A: It honestly started as a way to avoid chores as a kid. The longer I spent making complex, intricate designs, the less time I had to spend folding laundry or doing dishes.
Q: Why do you enjoy chalk art?
A: While it used to be an excuse, I enjoy it now because it gives me perspective. I spend hours adjusting lines and shapes, and once I step back, it really makes a difference. It's all in the details.
Q: Tips for getting started?
A: I would avoid roll on wallpaper—it’s a pain to wipe clean. Instead, I’d invest in some good chalk and find ideas on Google or Pinterest.
Q: Anything else?
A: Shout out to my Dad, who has a knack for homebuilding and design, and who had the idea for a chalkboard fridge in the first place!
