REVIEW: If there’s ever a band readymade for making your soul blossom, it’s The Gaslight Anthem. Headlining 2000trees for the very first time and very much back in the swing of things after bringing their hiatus to a triumphant end, tonight is a cause for celebration. To raising glasses to friends old and new, singing along to the soundtracks of a thousand long nights, and living this life as loud and proud as it should always be. Luckily, the band have plenty of ammo in their back pocket to make that all possible, with the likes of ‘Handwritten’ and ‘American Slang’ triggering waves of goosebumps and fresh additions ‘Positive Charge’ and ‘Autumn’ feeling like timeless classics already. Manchester Orchestra's Andy Hull even joins the parade for the nostalgic warmth of '45'. With so many hearts being worn on sleeves and voices lost to the stars above, this can be chalked up as a momentous showing from a band made for slots of this size. A glorio...
