Just under a month ago, I showcased and defended my Master of Fine Art thesis project, 504-907.
I will be showcasing some of the images from the series. Each image is for sale in a 20x24 frame and matted. Later this year I will be releasing a book that may show portions of the series.
This work is a diptych comparison of the ordinary elements of Louisiana and Alaska. Primarily New Orleans and Fairbanks. Within the work I focus on people, buildings, and intimate details.
It’s been an honor to create work showcasing our country’s two most unique states (yes, I’m biased). It’s been an honor to have the project well received.
In addition to Fairbanks, portions of 504-907 has already shown in Kansas City, Lubbock, and Yakima. I’m more than excited to announce that 504-907 will be showcasing on its once again in November at The Art Gallery at Macomb Community College.
