Last night was a bucket list/full-circle moment for us. 🤯 Heading to the hotel for the Forward Event, we noticed a billboard that said Missy, Busta, Ciara and Timbo were performing on Saturday. For those that don’t know, we LOVE us some missymisdemeanorelliott. We did a surprise first wedding dance back in 2006 to Missy and Ciara’s “Lose Control.” We hired 2hills and thesavageway to make a dope moss art painting of Missy out of our wedding tie and veil to commemorate it. It also got us some love on YouTube and eventually landed us on the rachaelrayshow with our BFF Mary Murphy (#IYKYK OG #SYTYCD fans!) for a first wedding dance competition. 👰🤵‍♂️💃🏼🕺 The RR show couldn’t clear the rights to the song, so they asked us if we could dance to the instrumental sample. It’s SUUUUPER cringe - definitely don’t Google it… but we won! We got a baby moon to St. Croix out of it.
