Today, UMass Memorial Health presented the 4th annual “Home Run for Life” at Polar Park. Annaliese Black, a brave 8-year-old from Spencer, enjoyed the WooSox game in a suite with her family, friends, and healthcare team. And at the end of the 3rd inning, she and her stuffed sloth Cherise ran around the bases while Worcester and Rochester players gave her high-fives and all of WooSox Nation cheered her on.
