As well as my 1st year as an ambassador. ​​​​​​​​ My journey as a runner has been marked by milestones from being a high school All-American athlete to becoming an All-Big 12 at Baylor University. ​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ Throughout my journey, I often found myself as the only U.S. born, Black distance runner on every team I ran on through college. This highlighted the need for increased representation in the running community.​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ After graduation, I ran professionally as a post-collegiate with a few sponsors, but it led me to lose sight of my identity with running. In 2017, I made the difficult decision to step away from the sport I loved. However after moving back to Texas in 2023, I found my passion for running again through friends.
