It was an evening of Grande Dames at Veuve Clicquot’s special dinner with Chef dominiquecrenn at her award-winning atelier.crenn in San Francisco. To celebrate the release of veuveclicquot’s latest vintage, La Grande Dame Rosé 2015, Chef Dominique and team put together an incredible culinary experience at her three-Michelin-starred restaurant for the guests, including local philanthropist Denise Hale, landscape artist lily_kwong, Cherry Bombe founder kerrybombe, and actor-writer-director officialmariabello, who also happens to be Dominique’s wife. (The two were married in May in Cabo on Mother’s Day!)
Each of the nine courses had a special pairing of different La Grande Dame vintages by Veuve Clicquot. The beet-and-caviar tartlet with fermented beetroots from Dominique’s Bleu Belle Farm, crème fraîche, dashi gelee, meyer lemon, and a koshihikari rice tart shell was directly inspired by the 2015 vintage.
