🌟 Youth from across NC showed off their skills at the 2024 State 4-H Poultry Judging and Avian Bowl contests at NC State last week! 🐔🏆 4-H Avian Bowl tested knowledge in poultry science with quiz bowl excitement. Congrats to all participants from the counties represented: Carteret, Catawba, Craven, Halifax, Johnston, Rutherford, and Wilson. In 4-H Poultry Judging, teams graded production hens, market poultry, and market eggs. Participating counties included Bladen, Cabarrus, Catawba, Craven, Edgecombe, Halifax, Johnston, Rowan, and Union. The first-place senior team will have the privilege of competing in the National 4-H Poultry Judging Competition in November! And let's not forget the inaugural 4-H Poultry Skillathon, where youth demonstrated practical poultry industry knowledge. Kudos to all 15 participants in 2024.
