Our "Meet The Band" concludes with Dom's gear. This will be nowhere near as wordy as my other posts....For my "main" guitar, I use a Jackson Pro Series DK2M Dinky with a slim green swirl finish. It has a Floyd Rose bridge which I'll eventually block one day since I only ever really use it once or twice a year when we're on a Hanneman or Dimebag tribute show. It originally had a Seymour Duncan JB pickup in the bridge and '59 pickup in the neck but I swapped them out with SD Blackouts. I've always used .09-.42 Dean Markley Blue Steel strings and Tortex .50mm picks (the red ones), although I now use custom green "Varkan" .46mm picks from In Tune Guitar Picks. I've never been a huge gearhead when it comes to heads, cabs, pedals, etc.so I've always played through a hodgepodge of used/borrowed gear at any given time (although I'll always have too much chorus, reverb, and delay because I'm forever trying to get the "Somewhere in Time" tone). #varkan #varkanofficial #powermetal #thrashmet...
