Wichita, KS (Monday, July 15, 2024) – Cal South’s Unico FC Black won their Boys 13U semifinal match this morning with a 1-0 shutout against Illinois’ Harvard FC to move into Tuesday’s finals round at the US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup. The tournament is taking place July 12-16, 2024 at the Stryker Sports Complex in Wichita, Kansas. Unico FC Black will next face off in tomorrow's finals against the Hulmeville SC Demons of Eastern Pennsylvania, whom Unico previously shutout 2-0 in the opening match of Bracket Play last Friday, July 12. Closing out Bracket Play, Unico defeated North Texas’ Chelsea East 11B Barrios squad, 2-1 Sunday evening to land atop the Boys 13U Bracket A with a perfect 3-0 record and 9 points. Cal South’s other team at the event – Girls 15U La Quinta FC – did not advance to the semis in their age group after the opening three days of Bracket Play.
