Throughout history, humans have used art to interpret the mysteries of the stars. Janani Lakshmanan, a Psyche Inspired student, is no exception. Lakshmanan's creativity was fueled by inspiration from #MissionToPsyche — whether through pen and ink drawings or performing Bharatanatyam (Indian classical dance). As a mathematics major and passionate artist, Lakshmanan was excited by the sense of community she found while attending the launch last October. The hands-on experience of participating in the Psyche mission left a lasting impression on her — as well as a historical impact on academia.
