Today we celebrate the life and legacy of Lou Gehrig. Through the help of the MLB we will continue to support the ongoing fight against ALS. Pictured second is a photo of a relative of mine Nathan and his family. Nathan is a United Methodist Pastor, currently serving at the Great Plains Conference office, providing leadership and direction to the United Methodist Churches across all of Kansas and Nebraska. Nathan is most proud of his wife of 27 years Brenda, and his 3 sons Noah, Isaac & Eli. Since his diagnosis nearly one year ago of Bulbar Onset ALS, his family has been by his side, as they all adjust to the physical changes in Nathan as his ALS progresses.
