🏴‍☠️Table-Toppers A bright future is shining now! Steel City Academy has ended their season in spectacular fashion, securing seven points from their last three games to vault to the top of the table. Academy blitzed Inter FC, who had been in first place, 6-3 Monday night. New Lenox's Hagen brothers paced the effort. Miles Hagen netted twice while brother Dane Hagen also scored. Mokena's Nicolas Espinosa played his 250th minute for Steel City teams in two days and had a goal and assist. Jaden Jaime and Josh Mensching also scored. Jaime contributed two assists and Roman Basso assisted. Connor Waite continued his brick wall performances in goal alongside Jonathan Harwood who deputized throughout the year. Sam Irigoyen and Cole Powell did the hard work, grinding in the middle with Jaden Shillingford and Justin Naughton flanking them.
