The launch of Apollo 11 and #Artemis I: What’s changed?
In this video, you can see how ground operations at NASAKennedy Space Center have changed or stayed the same prior to getting a Moon rocket off the ground.
The Artemis I SLS (Space Launch System) didn’t launch from Launch Pad 39B by itself, similarly to how the Apollo 11 Saturn V rocket didn’t start its journey from Launch Pad 39A on its own. Teams on the ground worked tirelessly to build these rockets, roll them to the pad, and prep them for launch.
