That might sound obvious, but hear us out; When it comes to muscle soreness, a little is good, but more is not better. So when your level of soreness impacts your ability to train effectively, it might be worth looking at your recovery. πͺ
First, grab the big rocks like sleep π, nutrition π, and hydration π§. If you have them under control, only then is it worth considering those smaller rocks and pebbles like ice baths π§, saunas π§ββοΈ, and massage πββοΈ.
Always work within a tolerable amount of training for you because when training volume increases, so too should your focus on recovery. π
