This is how we make ice for Disney on Ice, in Kansas City Got a lot of messages asking for this video to be shared, so let's do it! Started on a Sunday night, getting the floor prepped, and started making ice. Didn't have to paint one side, bc it was going to be backstage, but still had to get the ice pretty good since skaters were still skating around. Can't share a lot of the videos I got from backstage bc it's pretty strict. Once the ice was made, their crews came in and setup the rigging, lights, sound, stage, etc.. seeing it all happen, was absolutely amazing. Once rehearsals were done, shows started and we had to do a "Show Cut" getting the ice as perfect as we could for the start of the show. Then we either went into the stands to watch, or hung out in the back and waited till intermission, when it was time to get the zamboni backstage and get the ice ready for the 2nd half.
