In AP Computer Science Principles and AP Computer Science A, students are using computer science to bring their ideas to life. 🛍️ mihirraov made an inventory management app called eshelf. 🎬 espino_evan created a program that sorts movies by name, year, and the name of the studio that created them. 👩‍🏫 ianfernandes.12 made an app designed to help school administrators schedule faculty meetings, take attendance, and gather live feedback. 🕹️ dum_eraser made a Pong game. 💻 girlplex taught girls how to code in HTML, Java, CSS, Javascript, and Python. There is a well-documented shortage of women and students of color in STEM fields, but new research shows that AP students are changing that! 💪 AP Computer Science Principles students - especially Black, Hispanic, female, and first-generation - are much more likely to choose a computer science major in college.
