After a tour of Maynard Children’s Hospital, and what initially started as Pirate baseball teammates donating Christmas gifts for children, Carter Cunningham, former @ecu_baseball player, established @homersthathelp with the @ecuhealthfoundation, where fans and community members pledge money for every home run that the Pirates hit during the season. To date, Carter and his team have helped raise over $30,000 that goes directly to supporting pediatric patients and their families during hospital stays.
