Lee Kiefer just became the FIRST American woman to win an Olympic medal in individual foil after taking home the gold🥇for the USA!🇺🇸 After coming up short at the podium in London and Rio, @leetothekiefer became the first American woman to earn the #️⃣1️⃣ world ranking in foil fencing in 2017! While training for Tokyo, Lee enrolled in medical school👩‍⚕️ at the University of Kentucky in Lexington and trained for the games🤺 in her family’s basement over the pandemic.
