#PolicyProfile: “I’ve always just wanted a career with a mission and one that helps people develop to their full potential. During my undergrad at alleghenycollege, I got involved in university leadership as a residence hall director and president of my sorority. It was around then that I started to think about a career in university administration. Now, I get to support graduate students as they find their paths. Some advice I like to give: Assess your core values, know your strengths, and pivot when needed. It’s sort of like aligning the tires on your car. You need to regularly inflate and align them correctly for the car to run its best. Stepping into this position at PrincetonSPIA has made me feel like my tires are aligned. I’m returning to my core values and focusing on the strengths I know I can bring to work through student advising and alumni partnerships.
