Several of our graduate students are on a #springbreak trip they organized to deepen their understanding of policymaking and #votingrights in American Southern cities — and you can follow their journey! chrisgliwa ’21 MPA ’25 has taken over our Story and is sharing updates along the way, so make sure you watch today-Wednesday. With many stops in Alabama and Georgia, the group is meeting with policymakers, learning regional history, and discussing local issues with community leaders.   This morning, students and Dean Jamal toured the LegacyMuseum, created by eji_org, which is led by Bryan Stevenson, as well as the National Memorial for Peace and Justice, which commemorates the Black victims of lynching in the U.S. Soon, they’ll be in #Selma to march across the Edmund Pettus Bridge during the officialselmajubilee.
