Two tigers took the stage at the 2021 Puerto Rico Growth Policy Summit hosted by the Center for the New Economy in San Juan last month. Francis Torres MPA ’22 served as master of ceremonies 🎀 and Karlin Gatton MPA ’22 presented findings from the graduate policy workshop led by Eduardo Bhatia, former president of the Senate of Puerto Rico. The presentation covered three key topics β€” accountable governance and market access to lower future costs of borrowing, fair and effective federal public and emergency assistance to support the most vulnerable, and an agenda to achieve resilient and sustainable economic growth in Puerto Rico. And we can’t forget about the other second-year workshop students who contributed to the report. Shoutout to Juan Pablo Alvarez, Jia Jun Lee, Guillermo Herrera, Nethaniah Josma, Andre Zollinger, Ryan Price, Joshua Seawell, and Joscelyn Garcia. We are proud of you all! 🐯 🌟 #AtSPIAWeLead #AtSPIAWeRise #CNEGPS #PuertoRico
