We were thrilled to host John Heffernan for an informal roundtable luncheon with our students. John has more than 30 years of experience in nonprofit leadership positions across five continents. 🌎 As director of the Genocide Prevention Initiative at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum (holocaustmuseum), he established the Genocide Prevention Task Force and led three investigations to Darfur, Sudan, and Afghanistan, where he discovered a mass grave. At the International Rescue Committee (rescueorg), he managed IRC’s refugee resettlement program in Khartoum, Sudan.
